Today I am so happy to share with you some wedding flowers I designed for one of my favorite couple Janelle and Dwain, which took place at the Linden Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Queens New York last week. It was my pleasure working with the couple within these months – from the initial consultation, the sample section till the wedding day…
The bouquet of the bride was off-white and it was elegant – with roses and limoniums. I also added rhinestone wrap to make it more classy.
The bride would love to have her bridesmaids carrying peach roses bouquet. I used three different shades of peach roses and few stems of bouvardia as the filler.
For the ceremony, the couple would love to have two large arrangements by the altar. I used premium hydrangeas as the base flower. Hydrangea is one of the most popular flower choice in weddings. I always recommend using it in huge centerpieces. People would think that Hydrangea is expensive but it actually could save you a lot more money than using other flowers because of its huge bloom. On the other hand, I also designed the arrangements with dendrobium orchids and curly willow to create a “fan shape”. The arrangements added beauty in the church… Classic Elegance on the white pedestals!
I also designed the mother’s corsage with spray roses with a little touch of astilbe. Artificial crystal leaves were also added to make it more special!
The couple also ordered two presentation bouquets for their moms.
In all it was a wonderful wedding. I look forward to share many more with you!
